He didn't belittle them. He said they look like thr guys who work on Marbella beach. Very enterprising young men. So he did in fact praise them.
Although to use that praise within the context he did is naïve at best.

Racism isn't the biggest problem here, it's the fact a man who knows what belittlement/predjudice can do to a community/faith and to those individuals on the end of it, then for no reason but personal but for his own humour belittles a race of people who are basically starting out as he did.
What's the difference between him selling a product door to door to those blokes selling product on a beach?
He's proud of what he started from yet belittles those who are effectively doing the same to get food and a roof over their heads.
Everyone wants to make it about racism but it's the hypocrisy of the man and the fact he's obviously forgotten where he's come from is why he should know better.The fact he is also proud to be Jewish should have been a no brainer for him too.
You know for a fact if someone had photoshopped Amstrad computers as their product line he would have had the proper hump.

Havng experienced racism myself but also knowing what banter is.....mMy definition of Racism is whether you are using someone's race or stereotyping to either insult them or that race religion, or to Imply that because you are of that race you must be a cunt etc. Obviously discrimination because of race is racism too.
Also depends on the tone and intent.
So many people don't have a clue what it really means but are happy to bandy the term around which only waters down real racism and is a bit of an insult to those who have truly suffered it. (Not myself by the way, before the usual cunts call me a victim)
